Fresh From Our Farm To Your Home
Little Creek Produce
Rooted in the rolling hills of Cookeville, Tennessee, Little Creek Produce Farm has been growing fresh, local produce since 1976. Known for its Tennessee white half-runner green beans, sweet corn, and blemish-free tomatoes, the farm is operated by Wayne Moss, a lifelong farmer and Tennessee Tech graduate in Plant and Soil Science. For more than five decades, Little Creek has built a reputation for hard work, practical knowledge, and a deep respect for the land they farm.
Long before sustainable farming was a buzzword, Little Creek Produce was practicing it. As one of the first in the region to experiment with no-till farming in the late 1960s, he founded Little Creek on the belief that healthy soil grows healthy food. His 70-acre farm in Putnam County serves as both a workplace and a living classroom.
At the heart of Little Creek Produce stands a restored 19th-century log cabin, a symbol of both heritage and endurance. Once part of the old Putnam County poor house, the cabin now serves as the centerpiece of the produce stand, welcoming neighbors, travelers, and families looking for farm-fresh food grown just minutes from downtown Cookeville.
